Hi there Friend!

I’m an illustrative graphic designer and an educator, specializing in a whimsical and friendly visual communication style.

My work appeals to the gentle soul.

After graduating from Detroit’s College for Creative Studies, I earned my chops practicing my craft for many years - first as an in-house, then in-agency, and now as an independent illustrator and designer. Additionally, several of those years have been spent teaching graphic design and illustration to college students.

I’m enriched by the wide variety of work I do for my clients, by the new things I learn from my bright students, and by the opportunity to engage with this vibrant creative community of Detroit and its neighbors.

From my studio, I hear boats and seagulls on the Detroit River while I’m working. When I’m not there, you can find me in the classroom, working on a mural project with college students, or playing outside on one of Michigan’s Great Lakes or rivers.
